Manga is typically read from right to left and is often presented in black and white. Our manga viewer is tailored for this format, giving you a smooth, true-to-format reading experience.
Manga is divided into chapters and volumes. Manga series currently on Manta are available to enjoy by volume.

Volumes are longer collections of chapters released together as a single unit. They are ideal for binge reading and allow you to enjoy a more complete portion of the story with each release.
How to read manga
- Manga volumes can be unlocked with Gems.
- Before deciding to unlock volumes you can get a taste of the story with a preview.
- Once you unlock a manga chapter or volume, it’s added to your library where you can read it whenever you want. You can find and access your unlocked manga content anytime in the Unlocked section of My Series, even without an internet connection.
Using the manga viewer
- Follow the story
- Swipe left or right to move between pages
- Pages flow from right to left, just like traditional manga
- Adjust your reading settings
- Tap the Settings icon
- Change your page layout
- Turn on Two-page view in landscape mode for a wider layout
- Turn on Start from the first page in two-page view for a more natural reading flow
- Choose your theme
- Select Light, Dark, or Night theme
- Enjoy a seamless experience
- Our manga viewer supports manga’s format, so every page flows just the way it should
