Highlight your favorite scenes!

Have you ever wanted to capture certain scenes while reading webcomics? With this feature, you can now highlight the scenes that you want to remember, go back and relive the moment whenever you want, and even share your highlights via social media!

Here are step-by-step directions to using our Highlight feature.

How to highlight

1. Open any webcomic episode you wish to highlight scenes from.
2. Click the Highlight icon (square with ‘+’) in the lower middle part within the episode viewer.
   
3. Click “Okay”.
4. Now watch the magic happen! Just by tapping the Highlight icon, the screen will flash for a second, just like how the camera flashes.
5. Once the scene is successfully highlighted, you will see the “Added to My Series” message popping up from the bottom.

How to find your highlighted scene

1. To find the scene you have highlighted in that episode, click the Highlights button in the upper right corner.
2. You can also find your highlighted scenes from the Series home! Click the “Highlights” button at the top right, below the series title.
3. Another place you can find all your highlighted scenes is the My Series page. Simply click the “Highlights” tab at the right end.
4. Click the “Title” from the toggle at the bottom to sort highlights by series titles!
5. Click the “Recently added” at the top left to change the order. You can view the highlighted scenes by “Recently added” or by the alphabetical order of the series titles!

Add a memo to your highlighted scenes

Now, let’s learn how to personalize the highlighted scenes! You can add a memo to your highlighted scenes to remember your feelings and thoughts at that moment.

1. When you highlight the scene you want to remember, you will see the “Added to My Series” message.

2. Click the pencil icon on the right.

3. Tab the “Add a memo…” message at the bottom.

4. Now, write on! You can write up to 80 characters.

    

How to share a highlight via social media

1. You can share your highlight straight from the "Added to My Series" message. Just tap the arrow in the right.

2. Select the platform you want to share your highlight to.

How to remove highlighted scenes

1. If you want to remove the scene you just highlighted, you can click the trash can icon directly on the highlight you want to remove. 

2. Click “Remove”.

3. If you want to remove more than one highlighted scene, go to the Series home → “Highlights” button.

4. Click “Edit” in the top right corner.

5. Select all scenes you want to remove and click “Remove”.

“Where can I find my highlighted scenes?”

• Your highlighted scenes can be found in the following places:
  1. Episode viewer (of the episode you highlighted scenes from) → “Highlights” button at the bottom in between the ‘Prev’ and ‘Next’ arrows.
  2. Series home → “Highlights” button at the top right, below the series title
  3. My Series → “Highlights” tab

“The Highlight feature isn’t working.”

• If you are unable to highlight scenes from an episode, it could be because you already highlighted 8 scenes from that episode! To highlight an additional scene in the same episode, please delete one of the 8 highlighted scenes to make more space and then try again!

• Also, if you think you are experiencing technical issues, please kindly try the steps below.

  1. Delete the Manta app
  2. Restart your device
  3. Re-install the Manta app
  4. Check your network connection
  5. Try using the Highlight feature once more

“Can I download the highlighted scenes to my device?”

• Yes, you can now download the highlighted scenes directly to your device. (May differ by device.)

“Can I share the highlighted scenes on my social media?”

• Yes, highlighted scenes can be shared on social media, as long as they are not misused. We encourage sharing your favorite moments, but please be mindful of our community guidelines to ensure a positive experience for everyone. Additionally, we want to emphasize that this feature is designed to help protect the original creators' copyrighted material.
