A full version is the complete form of a series, including all original story elements. Full versions include mature content and are available only to readers aged 18 and older.
To keep Manta safe and age-appropriate for all readers, we use an age verification system during account creation. Content rated 18+ is not accessible to users who have not verified their age over 18.
If a series has a full version, users may see notes like this in the series Home:
- “This series version is tailored to be more suitable for its age rating.”
- “[Preview version] This episode is a preview of the full version series. If you enjoyed it, continue reading the full version.”
How to read Full Versions
Due to app store policies and regulations, we’re limited in how certain series can be offered. To help you keep reading the content you want, here’s how to read full versions (18+ titles):

If you’ve already been reading a full version on the web:
The title will continue to appear in My Series under Current Reads, Unlocked, or Saved. No extra steps needed. -
If you want to start a full version you haven’t read before:
- Open Manta in a web browser.
- Search for a title in the search bar, or type “full ver” to browse all available full versions.
- Full versions appear with [Full vers.] after the title.
- Start reading or save the series—it will then appear under Current Reads, Unlocked, or Saved in My Series.
