You can change your Membership in one of two ways:
- Switch to another Membership plan (change your current plan, such as Standard or Premium).
- Change your payment platform (change where your Membership is billed, such as Google Play, the Apple App Store, or Manta Web).
Switch to another Membership plan
Use this option if you'd like to change your Membership plan while keeping the same payment platform.
- Login to your account on the Manta app or web
- Note: Make sure you access Manta via the same platform used when you started your current Membership. For example, if you started your Membership through the app, you'll need to switch plans through the app. If you started your Membership through Manta web, you'll need to switch plans through Manta web.)
- Click on your profile icon in the upper right corner of the Manta app
- Click on the box showing your current plan (ex: Standard 1 Month)
- Click "Manage Membership"
- Click “Switch plans”.
- Select the plan you want to switch to.
- Confirm your selection.
- Finalize your payment
Depending on your current Membership and the plan you're switching to, your new plan will either take effect immediately or at the start of your next billing cycle. The effective date will always be shown before you confirm your switch.
Your new plan takes effect immediately when:
- Switching from a Standard 1 Month or 3 Month plan to a Premium plan.
- Switching from a Standard 1 Month or 3 Month plan to a Standard 12 Month plan.
- Switching from a Standard 1 Month plan to a Standard 12 Month plan.
- Switching from a Standard 3 Month plan to a Standard 12 Month plan.
If the change takes effect immediately, your current Membership will be automatically canceled, and the remaining Membership days will be refunded accordingly. You'll immediately receive the benefits of your new Membership.
Switch goes into effect at the start of the next billing cycle when:
- Switching from a Standard 12 Month plan to a Premium plan
- Switching from a Standard 12 Month plan to a Standard 1 Month or 3 Month plan
- Switching from a Standard 3 Month plan to a Standard 1 Month plan
- Switching from a Standard 1 Month plan to a Standard 3 Month plan
- Switching from a Premium plan to any Standard plan (12 Month, 3 Month, 1 Month)
If the change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle, your current Membership will remain active until the end of your current billing period. Your new Membership will begin automatically when your current billing cycle ends.
Change your payment platform
Your payment platform is where your Membership is billed, such as Google Play, the Apple App Store, or Manta Web (Stripe or PayPal).
Can I change my payment platform?
Currently, switching your payment platform without canceling your Membership is only supported from Google Play (Android) to Manta Web.
If you'd like to move your Membership between any other payment platforms, you'll need to cancel your current Membership and purchase a new Membership on your preferred platform.
Android (AOS) → Manta Web
If you started your Membership through the Android (AOS) app, you can switch your payment platform to Manta Web without canceling your current Membership.
The Membership plans available to you and the effective date of your new Membership depend on your current Membership and will be shown before you confirm your switch.
- Log in to the same Manta account on Manta Web.
- Go to My Page and select Manage Membership.
- Review the available Membership plans.
- Select the plan you'd like to switch to.
- Review the effective date of your new Membership.
- Finalize your payment.
If the change takes effect immediately, your Android Membership will be canceled automatically. Any applicable refund for the unused portion of your Android Membership will be processed through Google Play, and you'll immediately receive the benefits of your new Membership on Manta Web.
If the change is scheduled, your current Android Membership will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle. Your new Manta Web Membership will begin automatically when your current Membership ends.
