Dear our readers,
We will be making an update to our Terms of Service taking effect August 13, 2026. This is a summary of the changes to be made.
We have added new provisions to Section 5 ("Ownership; Digital Content and Limited License") and a new definition in Section 1 to reflect the introduction of our new comment feature. These changes describe how User Content (including comments) may be used, introduce our new Manta User Content Guidelines governing what you can post, and explain the actions we may take if those Guidelines or these Terms are violated.
If you continue to use the Service after the changes are posted, you are agreeing that the changes apply to your continued use of the Service.
For any further questions or concerns, please submit a request through our Help Center and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
Thank you always for being a part of our Manta community!
Sincerely yours,
Manta

2. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
[...existing paragraphs unchanged...] If the Terms or Manta Privacy Policy have any provisions or information that conflicts with RIDI's other terms or policies, these Terms and Manta Privacy Policy as applicable shall prevail.
The User Content Guidelines form part of these Terms and may be changed in the manner described in this Section 2. Making a new version of the User Content Guidelines accessible through the Manta Help Center (https://help.manta.net) constitutes posting on the Manta Website for the purposes of this Section 2.
5. OWNERSHIP; DIGITAL CONTENT AND LIMITED LICENSE
[Manta Content / Ownership / License You Obtain From Us / breach paragraph — all unchanged]
User Content: If you post, publish, transmit, or upload User Content on the Service, you agree that it will be:
(a) accurate; (b) not confidential; (c) not in violation of law; (d) not in violation of contractual restrictions or any other parties' rights...; (e) free of viruses, adware, spyware, worms, or other malicious code; (f) in compliance with the User Content Guidelines.
Your User Content will be processed by us in accordance with Manta Privacy Policy. You are solely responsible for securing and backing up your content.
We have the right to remove any of your User Content if, in our sole opinion, it fails to comply with these Terms. We also have the right to disclose your identity to any third party claiming that any of your User Content constitutes a breach of its intellectual property rights or their right to privacy. We will also disclose your User Content to other third parties or government bodies where we are legally required to do so.
User Content and the User Content Guidelines
User Content you post through the Service is subject to the User Content Guidelines. Any material violation of the User Content Guidelines is a breach of these Terms. In addition to the rights described above and in Section 4, and taking into account the nature, severity, and repetition of the violation, we may: prevent User Content from being posted; hide, limit the visibility of, or remove User Content; issue a warning; limit or suspend your access to any features used to submit User Content; or, in the case of serious or repeated violations, suspend or terminate your Account. We may also take any of these measures where required by applicable law or a valid legal order. We may notify you of the measure taken and of how you may request a review through the Manta Help Center. We may, but have no obligation to, monitor, review, or screen User Content, and we may use automated systems, human review, or both for this purpose. Any request for review of a moderation decision is an internal process only and does not limit, modify, or waive any part of Section 11 (Agreement to Arbitrate and Class Action Waiver).
License to User Content
You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights you hold in your User Content. By posting, publishing, transmitting, or uploading User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully paid-up, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, host, store, reproduce, translate, redact, modify, create derivative works of, publish, publicly display, make available, and distribute such User Content, in whole or in part, in connection with operating, providing, improving, and promoting the Service. You will receive no compensation for such use, and we are not obligated to credit you or to display, retain, or continue to make available any User Content. This license ends when you or we delete the User Content, except that it survives with respect to (i) copies retained in routine backups or logs for a commercially reasonable period, (ii) copies retained for legal compliance and safety purposes, and (iii) copies made or shared by other users before deletion.
Your Representations Regarding User Content
You represent and warrant that you own or have all rights necessary to grant the license described above and that your User Content does not infringe or violate the rights of any third party. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree not to assert any moral rights or rights of attribution or integrity against us or our sublicensees.
When you post, publish, or transmit your observations and comments on the Service, such as in forums, blogs, and chat features, we cannot guarantee that other users will not use the ideas and information that you share... [unchanged, moved to end of Section 5]
11. AGREEMENT TO ARBITRATE AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER
[...] This Section 11 shall survive termination of these Terms. (reference correction)
